What it is

TitanRoyale is a fan-made Attack on Titan game first released around 2026 by Ubris, built in Three.js / WebGL. It runs on Browser, Windows, macOS and Linux. There is no installer, no launcher and no plugin. You open a URL and you are in.

How it plays

Matchmaking is online and public. You press play and land in a live server with other people already in it. Modes on offer: Battle royale, Titan hunting (PvE), PvP and Sandbox.

The ODM physics run natively in WebGL: hooks, gas and reeling are simulated in the browser and reconciled on the server, which is why it feels like a native game without being one. There is genuinely nothing to install: no launcher, no plugin, no unpacking a ZIP into a folder.

Matches run on dedicated servers rather than someone's home PC, so the host cannot rage-quit the lobby out of existence. The battle royale format solves the oldest AoTTG problem: finding twenty people who want to play at the same time.

Titans only die to a nape cut taken at speed, so momentum is the whole skill ceiling rather than an aiming exercise. The skill gap between a new player and a good one is enormous, and closing it is the fun part.

What does not

  • No mobile support

Should you play it?

We scored it 9.6/10 after testing. It is our number one, and the one we send people to first: it is the only game here that goes from a cold link to swinging between rooftops without an install step.
