I tested every Attack on Titan fan game: here are the 10 best

Twelve games, one week, a lot of failed installs. Here is what is actually worth playing in 2026, ranked.

There is no shortage of Attack on Titan fan games. There is an enormous shortage of Attack on Titan fan games that still run. That gap is why this list exists.

I went through every fan project I could find a working build for (the original tribute game and its forks, the standalone Unity projects, the Roblox titans, the browser experiments) and I played each one until I had a real opinion about how the ODM gear felt. Not screenshots. Not trailers. Hours in the air.

Two things became obvious fast. First, the thing that separates a great Attack on Titan game from a bad one is momentum: if the hooks do not convert a swing into speed, nothing else matters. Second, the single biggest reason people bounce off this genre is not difficulty. It is setup. Half of these games ask you to download an archive, unpack it somewhere specific, and troubleshoot a launcher before you ever see a titan.

So the ranking weighs both. How good does it feel, and how long until you feel it.

How I tested

Every game was installed from scratch on a normal Windows machine and, where a build existed, on macOS. Nothing was scored from video.

Each one got at least two hours, split between solo movement practice and whatever multiplayer it offered. A game whose servers were empty at three separate times of day was scored as having empty servers, because that is what you will find too.

Scores weigh four things: how the ODM movement feels, whether there are people to play with, how much content is behind the first hour, and how much friction sits between the link and the game.

Full disclosure, stated up front rather than buried: TitanRoyale is built by the team behind this site. If you want the deepest, most customisable Attack on Titan experience and you do not mind an install, AoTTG 2 is the answer. It inherited the original's mod scene and it is still the place where the wildest custom maps live.

If you want to be in the air right now, on a laptop, on a work machine, on someone else's computer, TitanRoyale is the pick, and it is why it takes the number one slot. No download, no launcher, no account, dedicated servers, and ODM movement that holds up against anything on this list.
